14 NOVEMBER 2009: I am starting work with Qatar Petroleum as a consultant wellsite geologist through Oilfield Production Consultants.
18 JUNE 2009: Tektite research continues, with a popular article due to be published in the November issue of 'Meteorite' Magazine.
14 NOVEMBER 2007: My current research activities revolve around tektites, glassy objects formed through large asteroid impacts with the Earth. I am particularly interested in formation of surface sculpture, the properties of glass and crack propagation within glass. Naturally, I am also interested in stratigraphical debates surrounding tektites. You can view my webpage at www.tektites.co.uk.
26 MAY 2007: I am looking forward to commencing work with Maersk Oil Qatar, as a consultant wellsite geologist through Stag Geological Services Limited.
